Ralph Richardson (New Zealand)

Ralph Richardson (died 1895) was a 19th century Member of Parliament and cabinet minister in Nelson, New Zealand.

Richardson was born in Capenhurst, Cheshire, England. He came to New Zealand on the Maori in 1851.[1]

He represented the Suburbs of Nelson electorate from 1871 to 1873, when he resigned. He was a minister without portfolio in the Fox Ministry in 1856.[2] Richardson was appointed to the Legislative Council on 31 December 1853 and resigned on 13 December 1856.[3]

Richardson lived in London for the later part of his life.[1]
